Appleteey Body Toddy
November 4, 2009 in Recipes by Annacia

This is warm and comforting and just what you want of a cool afternoon or evening as you watch the leaves or snow fall! You can make it in a pot if you need it quickly or it’s perfect in a crock pot to allow folks to serve themselves through the evening or to have ready and waiting when you get home from shopping or whatever your day contains.
MAKES: 8-12 servings
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 quarts clear apple juice
- 1 1/2 cups brewed black tea, such as Darjeeling
- 1 cup apple brandy (or use Amaretto or Frangelico for a nutty influence that I like better than brandy)
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine apple juice, tea and your liquor of choice in a large pot and heat over moderate heat until hot,do not boil (or use a crock pot and allow time for heating).
- Scoop toddy into cups and serve with a cinnamon stick in each.
