How To Become A DAY Recipe Author
DAY Recipe is dedicated to collecting & showcasing original & unique recipes on the internet.
On our website, you will find a wonderful selection of tantalizing recipes. You can discover how the recipes can be made into beautiful food by viewing the many photographs that accompany these recipes.
DAY Recipes not only loves to publish these superb recipes but is prepared to pay you good money for your submissions!
We are passionate about good food & would love to hear from others who are too.
Who Can Become a DAY Recipe Author?
Anyone who has unique & original recipes to share with the world can become an author with us. All you need to have is a winning recipe & at least one original photographs (that you have taken yourself) of the recipe that you would like to publish.
You have the choice of sending us a recipe complete with photographs or if you would like to see yourself on the big screen, why not send in a video of yourself preparing your recipe…
To be in with a chance of having your recipe published on DAY Recipe, your recipe must be original – a new concept or idea for preparing a certain food. The actual recipe must have a minimum of 200 words (including the ingredients & the directions). You should break your recipe into 3 separate sections: Ingredients, Directions & Tips. Please include interesting tips you have about getting the best from your recipe.
All original photos submitted must be an upload size of at least 800×600 pixels or we may not be able to use them – therefore rendering your recipe unusable.
If you would like to send us your cooking video, please make sure that the video has a DAY Recipe watermark embedded.
How Can I Become a DAY Recipe Author?
First please send a short letter of introduction to the dayrecipe@gmail.com. Just take a few mins to tell us who you are and what kind of cooking you like best. What are your strong skills in the kitchen? Do you cook for young children or are you more in tune with a sophisticated social whirl? do you have a specialty: baking, brewing or managing parties? We just like to know a bit about our authors and we appreciate unique content that will help us grow into a site that you will be proud to be part of.
Once you are satisfied that your recipe meets our criteria, We will send you an Author account . please note that it is 100% free to join DAY Recipe!
Once you become an author, make yourself familiar with the layout of our site. Check out our recipes & take a look at our demo which explains step by step how you submit a recipe into our system.
When you have familiarized yourself with the site & are ready to submit your recipe, just type up your recipe & attach your photo (s) or video.
Once you have submitted your recipe, we will contact you shortly to inform you whether your recipe has been published or not.
If your recipe is published, you will be paid via PayPal, please make sure that you provide us with your account details upon registering with us.
What can I expect from DAY Recipe?
You will be paid every time you have a recipe published on our website.
A regular recipe with photo (s) will be paid $5.00
A new, unique & original recipe with photo (s) will be paid $10.00
A video will be paid $50.0
Payment will be made at the end of the month directly into your PayPal account & are paid in US Dollars only.

I work for a company that sells nationally distributed packaged food products and we also create recipes using these products (we are featured in national consumer magazines as well as dailies, websites, etc.) and was wondering if you would like some of these recipes to share with your website viewers. We do not want to get paid for these submission, just wanted to see if you were interested in posting them.
Sure , you are welcome to post any yum recipes on dayrecipe.
Also , You can feel free insert your company website link in the recipes.

I am a retired aerospace engineer, and love to cook. I have the most fun with meat dishes, but I also like to experiment with different kinds of soup. Most of the time, I prepare meals just for the family, but occasionally have friends over for dinner.
They invariably ask me to share my recipes.
I’d be delighted to share with a larger audience.
I wonder … I’m in South Africa, and I don’t have a PayPal account, just a regular bank savings account.
I’m an accomplished cook, was a magazine food editor in the late 70’s, and my sister and I have already received the contracts for a cookbook to be published in 2011.
But I doubt whether you accept non-US citizens as contributors?
